ROSSWALD IN SUMMER

Chalet Kristall is an ideal starting point for hiking the surrounding mountains in summer. The adventurous vacationer uses a mountain bike to explore the mountain or decides to go paragliding. In late summer and early autumn you can pick blueberries and mushrooms. The Shepherd's Festival at the beginning of September, where a thousand sheep are being herded down from the alp, is always worth a visit.

The Brig region offers a wide range of activities: the outdoor pool Geschina, the thermal bath Brigerbad or the historic castle in Brig are just a few to mention.

If you fancy a bit of Italy, visit the Saturday market in Domodossola. It just takes 30 minutes by train to reach this destination.

ROSSWALD IN WINTER

Rosswald is the perfect destination for winter sports enthusiasts with its 25 kilometers of slopes, a unique 9 kilometer toboggan run, Kidsland with a magic carpet and conveyer belt, snowshoeing and kite skiing.
The ski slope is right at the doorstep of Chalet Kristall. If you find yourself with extra energy at the end of the day, march up the hill and ride back down on a sled under a clear starry sky. The longer sleigh ride from the mountain station is also very popular, we recommend this descent only in good weather conditions.

Please note that the ski lift closes between 4 and 5pm, depending on the current weather situation. Afterwards, Chalet Kristall is only accessible within a 25-minute walk. An alternative to walking is to book a snowmobile.
